The Barber Shop

I saw this scene at the barbershop while walking the streets of Vancouver. It was like a snapshot drama of the barber and her client. The barber was trying to do her best work. Her client watched very carefully to see how he looks. This intensity between them felt like a small depiction of the drama of human life. It was a very interesting theme for me to paint.

This painting received a Honorable Mention Award at the 2021 Utah Watercolor Society Fall Art Exhibition.
